Purpose of the Community-Based Projects

The purpose of these projects is to extend the mission of Safer Hearing Now, LLC into the community by creating opportunities for education, awareness, and action around hearing health. Each project is designed to:

• Promote safe listening practices and protect against noise-related hearing risks

• Encourage the use of practical tools such as smartphone apps, ear protection, and community-based monitoring of sound environments

• Engage teens, parents, educators, musicians, and other community members in hands-on learning experiences

• Support individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing through inclusive, accessible outreach activities

• Foster partnerships with schools, workplaces, and local organizations to build a culture of hearing wellness
